Eines der letzten ursprünglichen Häuser in Hejlsminde wurde hier sorenoviert, dass das äußere Aussehen trotz der modernen Isolierungbeibehalten wurde. Auch innen hat man versucht den ursprünglichen Stilbeizubehalten, obwohl moderne Annehmlichkeiten, wie Geschirrspülmaschinein der Küche oder Holzofen und Wärmepumpe im Wohnraum dazugekommen sind. Boxer TV im Haus, daher kein ARD zur Auswahl.

Das Haus liegt ruhig am Ende eines kleinen Weges, von wo ein Pfad zumStrand und Yachthafen in Hejlsminde führt. Auf dem Grundstück gibt eseine Schaukel für die jüngsten Gäste.
